Certification: Upon passing the assessment you will be issued the Open Badge for the TOGAF Essentials Certification. The Open Badge: To earn the open badge for the TOGAF Essentials 2018 credential you must attend an accredited TOGAF Essentials 2018 classroom or virtual training and pass an online assessment consisting of 20 multiple-choice questions. Open Badges are a means for an individual to display, and for an organization easily to verify, certifications, achievements and credentials in a very visual manner online. For example, digital badges are used in popular social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook. You may also embed badges into your websites, e-mail footers or resumes. These credentials are represented with a digital image which contains verified metadata that describes an individual’s qualifications and the process required to earn them. A credential is a qualification, achievement, quality, or aspect of a person’s background, especially when used to indicate their suitability for something. Upon passing the assessment you will be issued the Open Badge for the TOGAF Essentials 2018 credential.

Exam Information

The credential is only awarded by completing a mandatory training element followed by an assessment.

Training: A minimum of three (3) hours training on the subject is required

Assessment:

Format: 20 multiple-choice questions

Delivery: The assessment is delivered over the Internet.

Upon satisfactory completion of the training element, Accredited Training Course providers submit Candidates to The Open Group, who will then issue an invitation to the Candidate to take the assessment.

Course Delivery Options

To ensure you obtain your certification in a convenient and timely manner, we have numerous course delivery options available to suit your specific needs. For TOGAF Essentials we recommend attending our LIve Online training class. For groups or organisations looking to

undertake team training, we can run this course as a short in-house training course.

Cancellation Policy

A 100% refund, minus a 5% processing fee, will be given to students who drop or withdraw from the EA Principals, Inc. class no later than the 21st day prior to the announced scheduled start date. No refund will be given within 21 days of the published start date. Students missing a portion of a class, due to emergencies or unforeseen circumstances, will be able to attend the next class on the same topic for the days missed, without additional fee. Students need not reregister; however, they must notify EA Principals, Inc. (by email or telephone), so the registration fee for the makeup class can be waived and class logistics provided.

Note: This refund policy does not apply if using special discount codes that have “no refund” specified in the usage instructions.
