With the launch of the TOGAF Essentials 2018 Credential last month, we wanted to provide our customers with some insights into this new offering from the Open Group to help you understand how this course and assessment will be run.
The TOGAF Essentials 2018 credential leads to an Open Badge to indicate that an individual has knowledge and understanding of the changes introduced to the TOGAF Body of Knowledge in 2018, including the TOGAF Standard, Version 9.2 and the TOGAF Library. To sit the assessment, existing TOGAF 9 certified practitioners must undertake a mandatory 3-hour training session with an accredited training provider and then they will be eligible to take the online assessment.
EA Principals’ accredited training will cover all the key topics that will be tested in the assessment for the TOGAF Essentials 2018 credential:
- The changes to the structure of the TOGAF standard and the importance of the TOGAF Library
- The additions to the Business Architecture domain in the TOGAF Standard, Version 9.2
