 $135K - $140K with a 10% bonus including all company benefits

Position Summary

This position is responsible for creating an overview of our assets, IT processes, and other internal functions helping drive enterprise-wide technology road maps, and lifecycle management of systems. The position will be responsible for preparing architectural models, consistent with our client’s standards, which reflect our strategies and goals. This requires having a broad understanding across all systems, applications, infrastructure, security, and business functions. This position will work with Technical leads to guide/drive the appropriate design of business applications in a Service Oriented Applications Environment. While doing so, the EA will guide the development of appropriate Architectural Models.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Work with range of people in business, IT PMO, and IT technical teams to lead and facilitate the development of artifacts
  • Produce timely status reports and projections
  • Assist in creation of artifacts supporting recommended strategy for short term and long term IT Infrastructure
  • Ability to work nights and weekends to support operation and projects
  • All other duties as needed or required
     
 

Minimum Qualifications & Skills

• Education – Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field. Post-graduate education is a plus
• Experience – Seven plus years as an information systems professional with five plus years in specialization
• Must have the ability to work in a highly collaborative, team-oriented environment and demonstrated ability to develop innovative solutions to complex problems
• Motivated to work with limited direction toward predefined objectives, and independently determine the correct approach 
• Must possess very good analytical and problem solving skills
• Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.  Must also be able to clearly convey technical concepts to non-technical individuals
• Self motivator that manages and prioritize multiple tasks
• Ideal candidate should have worked in a Service Industry - Travel, Hospitality, Banking / Financial Services – HELPFUL BUT NOT REQUIRED
• Work independently and as part of a team
 

Technical Expertise include

o Extensive experience with enterprise architecture best practices and goals
o Enterprise Architecture Certification/ proficiency in UML required
o Extensive experience in modeling of operating platform, component, deployment, current state, and future state diagrams
o Extensive experience with Sparx Enterprise Architect software required
o Minimum of 5 years of hands on development experience using a modern architecture;  Services, MVC, Web, or Mobile applications
